Your Accommodation
Your yurt provides a calm, cosy, comfortable, circular space heated by wood burning stove. Sited more than 30m from its neighbour, your yurt will feel like your own hide-away with its private outdoor seating and dining areas, firepit and hot tub. Sit back, relax and feel the stresses and strains of everyday life drift away as you immerse yourself in nature.
Relax, Play and Roam
With plenty of space to relax, play and roam you can enjoy a game of cricket or football on the field, explore Hadrian’s Wall or simply take in the countryside views from your own wood fired hot tub, cocktail in hand. Whether you are a couple, a family or a small group, you are feeling energetic or prefer to stay put and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, if you enjoy camping but are looking for a more luxurious break Hadrian’s Wall Country Yurts is a great fit for you.
Stunning Views
From your yurt you can enjoy wonderful views: to the South, the Northern Pennines and to the West, the distant Fells of the Lake District. Located close to one of the protected Dark Night Sky areas, on clear nights you can experience a stunning starlight performance or even the Northern Lights.

Inside your Yurt
Choose from one or two 18ft Mongolian styled yurts with space for up to 4 friends and family in each. An extra under 12 can be included by arrangement.
Enjoy a restful nights sleep in your double bed made up with crisp fresh white linen. Two extra single beds are also included per yurt, on request. When booking for 2 adults, please let us know if you’d like more than one bed set up.
Light the wood burning stove for cosy nights in. Your first fire is laid for you and a basket of logs provided per night.
Rustle up a fantastic meal on the breakfast bar style kitchen bench with all the kitchen equipment you need. Your food and drinks can be kept at fridge temperature in the high tech cool-box (55l).
Take time for yourself, kick back in the relaxing chairs with a coffee and a good book in front of the fire.
Off-grid but powered by battery packs and solar for lights and charging. Although there is no Wifi, the 5G is good enough to stream a film!
Outside your Yurt
Sit back and relax on comfortable chairs whilst listening to the sounds of nature all around. Catch up with friends and family while the children play safely nearby.
As the light fades enjoy the ambience created by fairy lights.
Cook and dine al fresco in your own private outdoor space complete with covered 0utdoor cooking area with gas hob, BBQ, firepit and countryside views.
Toast marshmallows over the firepit and enjoy the sound of wood crackling whilst whiling away the darker hours.
Immerse yourself in the ambience of wood-smoke and warm water whilst you relax and recharge under the stars in your very own hot tub. Let us know if you’d like your hot tub to be heating for your arrival by booking the hot tub warming extra.
Dine out at one of the local pubs or restaurants. With plenty to choose from there is something for everyone.
Eggs for breakfast?
Head down to see the hens. If you are lucky you may find some fresh eggs for breakfast.
Your four legged friends
Hadrian’s Wall Country Yurts is dog friendly so your four legged friends are welcome to stay too.
Some essentials
Private compost toilet – Compositing toilets require no water for flushing and are environmentally friendly, using no chemicals and producing no pollution. They are slightly different from the regular toilet you are used to but are not at all unpleasant and do not smell. Your toilet has a sink with hot and cold water for washing.
Hot shower with environmentally friendly shampoo and body wash provided.

It has it all! Space, views, animals, gorgeous yurts, amazing hosts, fantastic facilities, wood fired hot tub, dark skies and lovely local walks right from the gate. Just wonderful.

BBQ boxes – Four locally sourced burgers and a Cumberland Ring Sausage (400g).
Breakfast boxes – Six rashers of locally sourced bacon and six sausages (400g).
If you prefer a gas BBQ – there is one available to hire.
Pizza oven – Ooni oven available to hire. We can even provide the dough.
